An appointment can also be booked if a student wants to review any aspect of their support or to seek advice about their studies. Appointments for registered students are typically 15 mins and can be booked online or by contacting the team.听

Working with your own Accessibility Advisor

When you first register, you鈥檒l have an appointment, usually 30 mins, to talk through your learning and your accessibility needs with a skilled Accessibility Advisor.

Especially when you have complex needs, it can be helpful to have one key person with the big picture of your situation, and you can get to know one another over the course of your studies.

As well as face-to-face or online meetings, Accessibility Advisors can answer your queries by email, usually within two working days.

They have excellent knowledge of other university services and will be able to signpost you to other teams with whom we collaborate to build your support network.听
